Timothy Essig of the Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum joined the Practical Preservation podcast to discuss the vision and interpretation of the Landis’ Brothers collection of Pennsylvania German Heritage.
The goal of the Landis’ Brothers, “to preserve the vanishing culture” helped to create a farmstead to help show Pennsylvania German Heritage from 1740-1940 focused on a collection of everyday things that tell the story of the people that used them.
